The main developer left Windows since Windows XP. They are willing to port Gambas to Windows but they don't have the skills needed to do so. I can't tell my customers what to run, period. Multi platform is important, but first first-class Windows support, and only then the rest. Seems relatively smooth in the beginning, but you run into all kinds of walls afterwards.īut the killer was of course (at least back then) lack of Windows support.
